She received her coaching training from Adler International Learning Central Europe, one of the accredited schools of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

She started her career at ECA A.Ş., one of the Elginkan Group Companies. After working in organizational development, system establishment, human resources and training projects in various companies within the Elginkan Group, she was appointed to Elginkan Holding A.Ş. as the human resources manager responsible for the entire Group. She undertook the leadership of the planning and management of the structuring of the human resources departments in the Group Companies in the transition from personnel management to human resources management. She provided the restructuring of all human resources processes. She carried out the structuring project that formed the basis of the management model of the Group.

She took part in the Industrial Relations Commission of the Turkish Metal Industrialists' Union (MESS) and the Collective Bargaining Advisory Board. The university supported human resources management, organizational development and sectoral projects in various universities within the framework of industry cooperation. Akşit, who left her position at Elginkan Holding as of September 2012, provides consultancy on human resources management and business ethics, and teaches Human Resources Management and Business Ethics in undergraduate, graduate, e-mba and certificate programs at four different universities. She voluntarily provides coaching support to university students within the scope of projects in the career centers of the universities where she works as a faculty member.

Leading the "New Trends in Working Life" Expertise Group, one of the Expertise Groups of the Turkish Quality Association (KALDER), Akşit is a member of the KALDER Education Commission. She has also been working as an evaluator within the framework of the EFQM model since 2000 in the TÜSİAD-KALDER quality award process. She has been sharing experience since 2012 on the "Leaders Coffee" platform, which is part of the MCT HR Summit.
 
Akşit, who has articles and articles published in various magazines and newspapers, compiled a multi-authored book called "Thoughts, Practices, Forecasts" in HR Management. Her articles are also included in the multi-authored e-books titled "Questions and Answers on Management", "Journey to Human" and "Learning from Experience" published in the Humanist Book.

Akşit, who has been serving in the Ethics Committee of the Human Management Association of Turkey (PERYÖN) since 2003, has served as the Chairman of the Board for three terms (2008-2014). She is a member of the Turkish Ethics and Reputation Association (TEID).

Habibe Akşit, who graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration, completed the Business Administration Program of Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration, Institute of Business Economics. She received her Master's Degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Organization and Business Policy, and her Ph.D. in the same department.

Along with her coaching activities at The Coaching Company, Akşit also continues to work as a lecturer and consultant.

Defining her greatest wealth as her family supporting her development, Akşit is married and has two children.
