WHAT IS COACHING?
What are the Points to Consider When Choosing a Coach?
Founded in 1995, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) is a global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of accredited coaches.
With more than 26,000 professional coaching members in nearly 100 countries, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the voice of the coaching profession globally.
The main purpose of the International Coaching Federation is to advance the art, science and practice of professional coaching.
Although coaching does not yet have a standard education in universities, there are schools that offer very good and effective training programs internationally. The best source to find out which of these training programs are accredited is the website of the International Coach Federation ICF.

Although the past experiences of the coach usually help him to adapt to the client and make it easier to speak the same language, it may not be essential for a good coach who best applies the requirements of coaching. As important as, or perhaps more importantly, work experience is one's experience as a coach. In other words, it is the coaching hour that he performs.
ICF membership alone will not provide insight into the coach's experience and skills. The real standard is to go through the heavy accreditation process accepted and expected by ICF and to have various coaching levels such as ACC, PCC, MCC.
