Every person wants to be loved, noticed, approved and valued, this need makes a person feel his or her existence.
From our childhood, we want to be aware of our existence and to receive reactions that we are approved of from the outside world. Confirmation sentences come primarily from parents, reaching out to us in the following years by other authority figures in our lives. Sentences starting with approval words such as «Congrats», «Bravo» shape our perception of worthiness. These statements are guidance for us. It determines our environment, our work, our family, our relationships, and most importantly, our standing in life.
The dance of life is done with these attitudes. However, sometimes the rhythm and harmony of this dance are disturbed and at that moment a “psychological game” starts. The psychological game is played with negative attitudes such as «Accuser», «Rescuer» and «Victim».
If there is no openness in an environment, people are manipulating each other or being manipulated by someone else, talking to each other through expressions of sarcasm and contempt, then that environment is very permissible to psychological play. In order not to enter this game and not to disrupt the harmony of the dance, it is important to maintain positive attitudes such as «Supporter», «Helper», «Free Child».
