İlgün is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is a senior executive, leadership and team coach and also works as a mentor coach.
She is a senior professional with over 27 years of diverse experience; she has spent 22 years of this time in Unilever, one of the leading companies in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
She has assumed local and international leadership roles in various technical fields such as Production, R&D and Quality, in different categories and geographies. Throughout her career, she has taken on high-level responsibilities at the country and region levels, led inter-functional and virtual teams and contributed to strategic leadership agendas.
Professional Background
Her areas of expertise include quality management systems, manufacturing and industrial performance, new product and process development, food safety, e-commerce and contract manufacturing with logistics quality. She has led important factory expansion projects, productivity and performance management systems, operational quality audits and team development projects.
Since 2017, Ilgun has also been working as a certified coach to help leaders, technical professionals and talents to develop their leadership, empathy, communication and self-motivation skills.
She has been trained in Gestalt psychology, Transactional Analysis and Logotherapy to blend her corporate experience and psychological knowledge in a unique way in coaching practice. The coaching approach is based on creating meaningful impact in individuals and organizations, enhancing performance and enabling sustainable growth. In addition to her professional coaching work, she is also actively involved in social responsibility projects; especially for gifted children and their families provides support through coaching and special training programs.
Her currently focused areas are leadership coaching for technical professionals, career transitions and senior executive development, female leadership, emotional intelligence and inclusive leadership.
In addition to her coaching activities within The Coaching Company, she also provides consultancy and training.
